Want to watch Prime Video on a big screen? Most TVs and streaming devices let you sign in by entering a short code at amazon.com/mytv. This guide shows you how, step by step.

What you need

  • An Amazon account (with Prime or Prime Video if you want the included shows and movies)
  • A TV, game console, or streaming player with the Prime Video app
  • A phone or computer with a web browser

How it works

  1. Open the Prime Video app on your TV.
  2. Choose Register on the Amazon website. The TV shows a 5 to 6 character code.
  3. On your phone or computer, go to amazon.com/mytv and sign in.
  4. Enter the code and confirm. Your TV refreshes and you can start watching.
Some devices also show a QR code you can scan, or let you sign in directly on the TV.
